Walking
Start at the Coimbra Train Station (Estação Nova). Exit the station and head towards the main road, Rua de Lisboa. Turn right onto Rua de Lisboa and continue straight until you reach the intersection with Avenida Emídio Navarro. Cross the road and head towards the university area. As you walk, you will see the beautiful buildings of the University of Coimbra on your left. Continue straight to Rua da Sofia and keep walking until you reach the Praça da República. From there, continue along Rua de Infante Dom Henrique, which will lead you to a series of steps. Follow these steps down until you reach the bottom. At the bottom, turn left onto Rua da Lapa. Continue walking until you reach the end of this street, where you will turn right onto Rua da Serra. Follow this road until you see Moinhos de Gavinhos on your left at R. Serra 14.

From the Coimbra city center, you can take bus number 34 from the bus stop located near the Praça da República. Board the bus and stay on until you reach the stop called 'Serra'. Once you exit the bus, walk back a short distance along the main road (R. da Serra) and you will find Moinhos de Gavinhos at R. Serra 14. This bus service runs frequently, so you won’t have to wait long for the next bus.
