From the heart of Douro Valley, head towards the A24 motorway. Follow the signs for A24 towards Porto. The drive is approximately 1.5 hours (around 90 km). Once you reach Porto, take the exit towards Rua de Camões/Praça de Parada Leitão. After exiting, follow the street signs to Praça de Parada Leitão. The Estátua de Ramalho Ortigão is located in the square, easily visible and accessible.

If you prefer public transportation, take a train from Regua or Pinhão to Porto. The journey takes about 2 hours. Upon arrival at Porto's main train station (São Bento), exit the station and walk towards the metro station. Take the Metro Line D (Yellow Line) towards Santo Ovidio. Get off at the stop 'Trindade' and transfer to Line A (Blue Line) towards Estádio do Dragão. Get off at the stop 'Aliados'. From there, it is a short 10-minute walk to Praça de Parada Leitão where the Estátua de Ramalho Ortigão is located.
