From Faro, take the bus to Lagoa. The bus station in Faro is located at Av. da República. You can check the schedules and buy tickets at the station or online. The journey takes approximately 50 minutes. Once you arrive at Lagoa, you will need to transfer to a local bus or taxi to reach Carvoeiro.

From Lagoa, take the local bus number 2 or 3 towards Carvoeiro. The bus stop for these routes is located outside the Lagoa bus station. The bus ride to Carvoeiro takes about 20 minutes. Make sure to ask the driver to let you know when you reach Carvoeiro.

Walking
Once you’re in Carvoeiro, head towards the beach by walking down to the main road, R. do Barranco. Continue along this road until you reach the coastline. Follow the signs to Praia do Carvalho. It’s about a 15-20 minute walk from the center of Carvoeiro. As you approach, you will see signs directing you to the beach entrance.
