Walking
From the center of Guimarães, head towards Largo do Toural. Once you reach this square, look for the bus stop where you can catch a bus to Vila Nova de Gaia. Take the bus number 38 or 56. After approximately 30 minutes, get off at the stop 'Cais de Gaia'. From there, walk down towards the riverfront, and you will see R. da Fonte Nova on your left. Continue along the street until you reach number 5, where Churchill's Lodge is located.

Start at the Guimarães bus station, which is located near the city center. Purchase a ticket to Vila Nova de Gaia. Board the bus and enjoy the scenic ride. After about 30 minutes, disembark at the 'Cais de Gaia' stop. Exit the bus station and head towards the river. Turn left onto R. da Fonte Nova and continue walking until you reach number 5, the location of Churchill's Lodge.
