    Walking

    If you are in the city center of Guimarães, head towards the Praça de Santiago. From there, walk south along Rua de São Francisco until you reach the intersection with Rua de D. João IV. Take a left onto Rua de D. João IV. Continue straight for about 500 meters, and you will see the Igreja do Carmo on your right at R. do Carmo, 4050-164 Porto. The church is a prominent landmark, so you should easily spot it.

    Public Transport

    From Guimarães, you can take a bus to Porto. Board the bus at Guimarães Bus Station. Look for buses heading to Porto and check the schedule for the next departure. Once you arrive at Porto's bus station, exit the station and find the nearest metro station, which is Campo 24 de Agosto. Take the metro on Line D (Yellow Line) towards Santo Ovidio. Get off at the Trindade station and transfer to Line A (Blue Line). Travel towards Senhor de Matosinhos and get off at the stop for the Igreja do Carmo. The church is a short walk from the station.
