Step Back in Time at Feira Medieval Lamego

Getting There

• Walking

  If you are starting from the center of Lamego, head towards Praça da República, the main square. From the square, walk along Rua da República until you reach the junction with Rua do Comércio. Turn right onto Rua do Comércio and continue straight. After about 500 meters, you will reach a roundabout; take the first exit onto Rua da Estação. Follow this road, and after approximately 1 kilometer, you will see the signs for 'Feira Medieval Lamego'. Continue on this road, and you will reach R. do Castelinho, where the festival is held. The total walking distance is about 1.5 kilometers and should take around 20-25 minutes.

• Public Transport (Bus)

  From the Lamego bus station (Terminal Rodoviário de Lamego), take any local bus heading towards R. do Castelinho. Buses typically run every 30 minutes. Once you board the bus, inform the driver you are going to Feira Medieval Lamego. The journey should take about 10-15 minutes. Get off at the nearest stop to R. do Castelinho, which will be announced during the ride. From the bus stop, it is a short walk to the festival location.

• Bicycle

  If you prefer cycling, rent a bike from one of the local shops in Lamego. Head towards Avenida 1º de Maio and follow it until you reach the junction with Rua do Comércio. Turn onto Rua do Comércio and follow the same route as for walking, continuing straight to the roundabout and taking the first exit onto Rua da Estação. Keep cycling for about 1 kilometer, and follow the signs for 'Feira Medieval Lamego'. The bike ride will take around 10-15 minutes depending on your pace.
