Once you arrive in Arouca, disembark at the main bus stop.

After arriving at the Arouca bus stop, you will need to walk to the Passadiços do Paiva Trailhead (Espiunca). Head to the main road, Rua 25 de Abril, and walk towards the Espiunca area. Follow the signs towards the 'Passadiços do Paiva' which will lead you along a scenic route. This walk is approximately 5 km and should take around 1 hour. Be sure to stay on the marked paths and enjoy the beautiful surroundings as you approach your destination.
