From the center of Lamego, start at Praça da República, the main square. Head northeast towards Rua da Liberdade. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Avenida 1 de Maio. Turn right onto Avenida 1 de Maio and walk for about 500 meters. You will see the signs pointing towards Santuário de Nossa Senhora dos Remédios. Follow the signs that lead you to Monte de Santo Estevão. The path will start to incline as you approach the sanctuary. The total walk is approximately 1.5 kilometers and will take around 20-30 minutes, depending on your pace.

From the main bus station in Lamego, located at Avenida da República, take the local bus that heads towards the nearby areas. Although direct buses to Santuário de Nossa Senhora dos Remédios may not exist, you can catch a bus that takes you closer to Monte de Santo Estevão. Ask the bus driver for the best stop to disembark.
