Getting There

  • Metro

    Take the Lisbon Metro to the Baixa-Chiado station. From there, exit the station and head towards Rua do Ouro. Walk straight until you reach Praça do Comércio. Continue straight ahead on Rua da Prata, then turn left onto Rua do Carmo. The Musée du Carmo will be on your right at the intersection with Rua da Trindade.

    Catch tram 28 in the direction of Martim Moniz. Get off at the stop 'Carmo'. From the tram stop, walk straight ahead along Rua do Carmo, and you will find the Musée du Carmo on your right side.

    If you're near Rossio Square, start at Rossio Square and walk towards the north. Head up Rua das Portas de Santo Antão until you reach Praça da Figueira. Continue walking towards Rua do Ouro and then take a right onto Rua do Carmo. The Musée du Carmo will be on your right side.
