Once at Rossio, purchase a ticket to Sintra. Trains run frequently, typically every 30 minutes. The journey takes about 40 minutes. When you arrive at Sintra Station, exit the station and head left onto Avenida Dr. Miguel Bombarda. Continue straight until you reach a bus stop where you can catch the Scotturb bus 435 or 434 towards 'Sintra Centro' or 'Praia das Maçãs'. Get off at the 'Fonte Mourisca' stop, which is approximately a 10-minute ride. From there, the Fonte Mourisca is within a short walking distance.

If you prefer to take a bus directly from Lisbon, you can catch the 403 bus from the Sete Rios Bus Station. To get there, take the Metro (Blue Line) to Jardim Zoológico. At Sete Rios, buy a ticket to Sintra. The bus ride takes about 1 hour and will take you directly to Sintra. Once you arrive at Sintra, you will need to transfer to a local bus (Scotturb 435 or 434) at the Sintra bus station towards 'Sintra Centro'. Disembark at 'Fonte Mourisca' stop, which is very close to the landmark itself.
