Car
If you are driving, start by heading towards the northern coast of Madeira. From Funchal, take the VR1 highway towards Ribeira Brava. After about 30 minutes, take the exit towards ER101, following signs for São Vicente. Continue on ER101 until you reach the turnoff for Achadas da Cruz. Follow the signs to Achadas da Cruz and park in the designated area. From the parking lot, it’s a short walk to the Pebble of Achadas.

To reach Pebble of Achadas using public transport, take a bus from Funchal to Ribeira Brava (Bus number 80). Once in Ribeira Brava, switch to a local bus towards Achadas da Cruz. Make sure to check the bus schedule as routes may vary. After getting off at the Achadas da Cruz bus stop, it's a short walk to the Pebble of Achadas. Be aware that the total travel time may take around 1.5 to 2 hours depending on bus connections.

From the parking area in Achadas da Cruz, you will need to walk a few minutes to reach the Pebble of Achadas. Follow the path leading down to the beach. The path is well-maintained but may have some inclines, so be prepared for a short hike. Enjoy the beautiful views along the way!
