Car
If you're driving from Funchal, take the VR1 highway towards Ribeira Brava. Continue along the VR1 until you reach the exit for ER101, which leads to Porto Moniz. Follow the ER101 road through the beautiful mountainous landscapes for approximately 40 km. Once you arrive in Porto Moniz, look for signs directing you to the 'Caminho da Eirinha'. The Miradouro do Teleférico das Achadas da Cruz will be on your left, and you can park nearby.

To reach the Miradouro do Teleférico das Achadas da Cruz via public transport, start by taking a bus from Funchal to Porto Moniz. Buses run regularly from the Funchal bus terminal. Once you arrive in Porto Moniz, disembark at the main bus stop. From there, walk up towards the 'Caminho da Eirinha' street. It’s a short walk of about 10-15 minutes uphill. The Miradouro will be on your left as you approach.
