Walking
From the Ponte de Lima town center, head north on Rua 1 de Maio towards the bridge. Once you reach the bridge, cross it and continue straight on Rua da Lapa until you reach the roundabout. Take the second exit onto Avenida dos Combatentes da Grande Guerra. Continue walking straight until you reach the next roundabout, where you will take the third exit onto Rua de Cima. Follow this road until you reach the next intersection, then turn left onto Rua da Estalagem. Continue until you see signs for the bus station. From there, you can take a bus to Barcelos, which takes about 30 minutes.

To get to the Museum of Pottery by bus, walk to the Ponte de Lima bus station located on Rua da Liberdade. There are regular buses to Barcelos. Purchase a ticket to Barcelos; buses typically leave every hour. Once you arrive in Barcelos, exit the bus station and head northwest on Avenida da Liberdade. After a short walk, turn left onto Rua Cónego Joaquim Gaiolas. The Museum of Pottery will be on your right.

If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bike in Ponte de Lima. Start from the center and head towards the bridge over the Lima River. After crossing the bridge, follow the designated bike path along the riverbank. Continue straight until you reach the roundabout and take the second exit. Keep cycling on Avenida dos Combatentes da Grande Guerra until you see signs for Barcelos. Follow the bike paths and roads that lead into the town. Once you reach Barcelos, look for Rua Cónego Joaquim Gaiolas, where the museum is located.
