Metro
From the city center, head to the São Bento Metro Station. Take the D Line (Yellow line) towards 'Hospital de São João'. Alight at 'Câmara de Gaia' station. Once you exit the station, head towards Rua do Choupelo. Follow the signs for the Atkinson Museum, which is about a 15-minute walk. You will walk downhill towards the river, and the museum will be located at Rua do Choupelo 132.

Go to the nearest bus stop in the city center and take the bus line 901 towards 'Câmara de Gaia'. Get off at the 'Câmara de Gaia' stop. From there, walk about 10 minutes downhill to Rua do Choupelo, where the Atkinson Museum is located at number 132.

If you're near the Ribeira district by the Douro River, start walking towards the Dom Luís I Bridge. Cross the bridge on the upper level, and once you reach the other side in Vila Nova de Gaia, follow the signs to Rua do Choupelo.
