If you are in the central Boavista area, head toward the 'Casa da Música' metro station. From there, walk south on Avenida da Boavista until you reach the intersection with Rua de Júlio Dinis. Turn left onto Rua de Júlio Dinis and continue straight until you reach the 'Câmara Municipal do Porto' (Porto City Hall). Continue walking down Rua de Gen. Torres until you reach the intersection with Rua do Gen. Torres. Quinta da Boavista will be located at R. do Gen. Torres 830, 4430-999 Vila Nova de Gaia.

From the nearest metro station, 'Casa da Música', take Line A (Blue) towards Estádio do Dragão. Alight at 'São Bento' station. From there, exit the station and head towards the riverfront. Walk along the Douro River until you reach the Dom Luís I Bridge. Cross the bridge, and when you reach the other side, continue on Rua do Gen. Torres until you find Quinta da Boavista at R. do Gen. Torres 830, 4430-999 Vila Nova de Gaia. The metro ticket costs around €1.20.

You can take the bus number 500 from the 'Boavista' bus stop. Board the bus heading towards 'Cais de Gaia'. After about 15 minutes, alight at the 'Cais de Gaia' stop. From there, head up Rua do Gen. Torres, and walk towards R. do Gen. Torres 830, 4430-999 Vila Nova de Gaia. The bus ticket costs approximately €1.50.
