Metro

If you are near the São Bento Metro Station, take Line A (Blue) or Line B (Red) towards the Jardim do Morro or Estádio do Dragão. Get off at the Campo 24 de Agosto station. From there, exit the station and head northwest on Rua da Alegria. Continue straight until you reach Largo da Lapa, where the Igreja da Lapa is located at number 1.
Bus

If you are at the Avenida dos Aliados, you can take bus number 601 towards São João de Deus. Get off at the Largo da Lapa stop. The Igreja da Lapa is just a short walk from the bus stop. Head towards the square and you will see the church located at Largo da Lapa 1.
Walking

If you are near the historic city center, you can walk to Igreja da Lapa. Start from the Praça da Ribeira and head north along Rua de Infante D. Henrique. Continue on Rua de Ferreira Borges until you reach Rua da Alegria. Turn left on Rua da Alegria and follow it until you reach Largo da Lapa. The church will be on your right at number 1.
Tram

From the Ribeira area, you can take the tram Line 1 towards the Hospital de São João. Get off at the stop called 'Cordoaria' and transfer to bus number 601 which will take you to Largo da Lapa. Once you get off the bus, the Igreja da Lapa will be right in front of you.
