Getting There

  • Metro

    If you are near the city center, head to the 'Casa da Música' metro station on the Metro Line A (Blue Line). Take the train towards 'Senhor de Matosinhos' and get off at 'Casa da Música' station. From there, transfer to Line C (Green Line) towards 'Estádio do Dragão'. Get off at 'Marquês' station. Exit the station and walk towards 'Rua de Camões'. After about 10 minutes of walking, you will reach 'Rua Dom João de Castro'. The entrance to Parque de Serralves will be on your left.

  • Bus

    You can take the bus from the city center. Catch the bus number 201 or 203 from 'Campo 24 de Agosto' stop. Both buses will take you towards 'Serralves'. Get off at the 'Serralves' stop. From there, it is just a 5-minute walk to the entrance of Parque de Serralves. Head towards 'Rua Dom João de Castro', and you will see the entrance on your right.

    If you are close to the historic Ribeira district, you can enjoy a scenic walk to Parque de Serralves. Start at 'Praça da Ribeira' and walk along the Douro River. Continue along 'Cais de Gaia' until you reach 'Ponte da Arrábida'. Cross the bridge and follow the signs towards 'Serralves'.
