  • Metro

    If you are near a Metro station, take the Metro Line A (Blue Line) towards Senhor de Matosinhos or any line that connects to Trindade station. Get off at Trindade station. From Trindade, transfer to Line D (Yellow Line) towards Santo Ovídio. Get off at the next stop, which is São Bento station.

  • Walking from São Bento Station

    Once you exit São Bento station, turn left onto Rua de 31 de Janeiro. Walk straight until you reach the large square, Praça de Almeida Garrett. From there, take the street that leads towards the beautiful Avenida dos Aliados. Continue walking straight until you reach Rua de São Bento da Vitória. Turn right and walk until you reach Largo Amor de Perdição. The Portuguese Centre of Photography will be on your left.

  • Bus

    If you prefer to take the bus, find a nearby bus stop with lines passing through the city center. You can take bus line 200 or 204 that stops near the São Bento area. After getting off, follow the same directions from São Bento station as mentioned above.

  • Tram

    You can also take the historic tram line 1 from the riverside area (Cais da Ribeira) towards Infante. Get off at the stop called 'São Bento'. From there, follow the walking directions provided earlier from São Bento station to reach the Portuguese Centre of Photography.
