Getting There

Public Transport - Tram
Begin your journey at the Setúbal train station. From there, walk to the nearby tram stop 'Estação Ferroviária de Setúbal'. Board Tram 1 towards 'Praça do Bocage'. After approximately 25 minutes, disembark at the stop 'Praça do Rossio'. From here, you will need to transfer to Tram 28. Board Tram 28, which will take you through the historic streets of Lisbon. Stay on for about 15-20 minutes until you reach the 'Largo do Chafariz de Dentro' stop. The Fado Museum is located at Largo do Chafariz de Dentro 1, just a short walk from the stop.

Bus
Start at the Setúbal bus terminal. Take Bus 503 heading towards 'Lisboa'. The ride will take about 50 minutes. Get off at the 'Martim Moniz' stop in Lisbon. From Martim Moniz, walk towards 'Rua da Conceição' and turn left at 'Rua de São Paulo'. Continue walking straight until you reach 'Largo do Chafariz de Dentro'. The Fado Museum will be on your right at number 1.

Walking
If you are already in Setúbal, you can take a scenic walk to the ferry terminal at 'Praça do Brasil'. From there, take the ferry to 'Cais do Sodré' in Lisbon (the ferry ride takes about 30 minutes). Once you arrive at Cais do Sodré, exit the ferry terminal and head towards 'Rua do Comércio'. Continue straight for about 1 km until you reach 'Praça do Rossio'. From there, transfer to Tram 28 and ride it to 'Largo do Chafariz de Dentro'. The Fado Museum will be a short walk from the tram stop.
