    If you are in Setúbal, head to the Setúbal Bus Station (Terminal Rodoviário de Setúbal). From there, take the bus number 565 towards 'Lisboa - Sete Rios'. The bus ride will take approximately 40 minutes. Get off at the 'Jardim da Estrela' stop. Once you exit the bus, walk towards the south on Rua de São Bento until you reach the intersection with Rua da Escola Politécnica. Turn left onto Rua da Escola Politécnica, and you will find the National Museum of Science & Natural History at number 56.

  • Train

    Make your way to Setúbal Train Station (Estação de Comboios de Setúbal). From there, take a train to Lisbon (Lisboa). Trains to Lisbon typically run frequently and the journey takes about 50 minutes. Once you arrive at Lisbon's Train Station (Lisboa - Entrecampos or Lisboa - Santa Apolónia), take the metro (subway) to 'Marquês de Pombal' station. From Marquês de Pombal, walk along Avenida da Liberdade until you reach Avenida da República, then turn left and continue to Rua da Escola Politécnica. The museum will be on your right at number 56.

From there, walk towards Rua da Escola Politécnica by heading up Rua do Carmo, continuing through Rua da Prata, and then turning left onto Rua da Escola Politécnica.
