Walking
If you are in central Setúbal, head towards the Setúbal Train Station (Estação da CP Setúbal). From the station, walk straight on Avenida 5 de Outubro until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the first exit onto Avenida dos Descobrimentos and continue straight. After about 1.5 km, you will reach the waterfront. Turn left onto the riverside promenade (Cais 1) and follow it until you see the ferry terminal for Troia (Terminal Fluvial de Setúbal). Take the ferry to Lisbon, which will bring you to the Lisbon waterfront near Praça Martim Moniz.

Public Transport (Bus)
From Setúbal city center, make your way to the main bus terminal (Terminal Rodoviário de Setúbal). Look for the bus services heading to Lisbon. You can catch the Rede Expressos or other local bus services that frequently run towards Lisbon. The journey takes about 1 hour. Once you arrive at the bus station in Lisbon, exit and walk towards the nearest metro station, Anjos. Take the Green Line towards Cais do Sodré and transfer to the Red Line at Alameda station. Continue towards São Sebastião, then switch to the Blue Line heading towards Santa Apolónia. Get off at the Martim Moniz station, and you'll find yourself right at the Praça Martim Moniz.

Head to the Setúbal Train Station (Estação da CP Setúbal). Purchase a ticket to Lisbon’s main train station, Lisboa (Gare do Oriente or Santa Apolónia). The train ride typically takes about 1 hour. Once you arrive in Lisbon, depending on which station you arrive at, you can either take a taxi or public transport. If you arrive at Santa Apolónia, you can catch the metro from there. Take the Blue Line towards Amadora Este and get off at Martim Moniz station, which is a short walk from Praça Martim Moniz.
