Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are in the center of Sintra, start by walking towards the Sintra train station. From the station, head southwest on Av. Dr. Miguel Bombarda towards R. Dr. Alfredo da Costa. After about 300 meters, turn left onto R. da Liberdade. Continue straight for approximately 500 meters until you reach the Sintra National Palace. From here, continue on R. da Liberdade until you reach the main road (Av. 25 de Abril). Cross the road and follow the signs towards the bus terminal. Take the bus to Lisbon, which will take you to the city center, then follow the directions below to reach your destination.

  • Bus

    From the Sintra bus terminal, take the bus to Lisbon, which typically arrives at the Sete Rios bus station. Once you arrive at Sete Rios, transfer to the metro system. Take the Blue Line (Linha Azul) towards Santa Apolónia. Get off at the second stop, which is Jardim Zoológico. From there, switch to the Yellow Line (Linha Amarela) towards Odivelas. Get off at the Campo Pequeno station. Exit the station and walk towards Av. da Igreja, then continue straight until you reach R. Nova dos Mercadores. The destination should be on your right.

  • Train

    From Sintra, you can take a train directly to Lisbon. Board a train at Sintra station heading towards Rossio station. The journey takes about 40 minutes. Once you arrive at Rossio station, exit the station and head towards Praça da Figueira. From there, walk towards Rua Nova dos Mercadores, which is about a 15-minute walk. Follow the directions towards R. da Conceição and continue straight until you reach your destination at Rua Nova dos Mercadores n.º 27.
