Walking
From the center of Sintra, head towards the Sintra train station. Exit the station and walk straight down Avenida Dr. Alfredo da Silva. After about 10 minutes, you will reach a roundabout. Take the first exit onto Rua de São Vicente. Continue walking straight; the road will gradually incline. Follow the signs for São Vicente Fort. The path may be steep, so take your time. After a 20-minute walk, you will arrive at the entrance of São Vicente Fort, where you can enjoy stunning views of the surrounding area.

Bus
From Sintra's historical center, walk to the bus stop at Praça da República. Take the bus number 417 or 403 towards Colares. Stay on the bus for about 10 minutes and get off at the stop named 'São Vicente'. From there, follow the signs to São Vicente Fort. It’s a short 10-minute walk uphill to the fort. Be prepared for a steep climb as you approach the fort.
