Walking
If you're starting from the Sintra train station, exit the station and head straight on the main road (Avenida Dr. Miguel Bombarda) towards the center of Sintra. After about 400 meters, you'll reach the Sintra National Palace. Continue walking straight until you reach the intersection with Rua da Ferraria. Turn left onto Rua da Ferraria and walk for about 300 meters until you reach the intersection with Rua Alexandre Herculano. Turn right onto Rua Alexandre Herculano, and you will find the Shaare Tikvah Synagogue at number 59 on your left.

From the Sintra train station, take bus number 435 towards 'Cabo da Roca'. Get off at the 'Centro Histórico' stop, which is about a 5-minute ride. Once you get off the bus, head down the hill on Rua da Ferraria. Walk straight for about 400 meters until you reach the intersection with Rua Alexandre Herculano. Turn right and walk along Rua Alexandre Herculano for about 200 meters. The Shaare Tikvah Synagogue will be on your left at number 59.

The ride will take approximately 10 minutes, depending on traffic. The driver will drop you off right in front of the synagogue.
