From Cascais train station, take a train towards Lisbon (Cascais line). The journey takes approximately 40 minutes. Get off at the Rossio station. Once you exit the station, head towards the Restauradores Square and locate the Metro station. Take the Green Line towards Cais do Sodré and get off at the Avenida station.

After arriving at the Avenida Metro station on the Green Line, exit the station and walk east along Avenida da Liberdade. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Rua da Escola Politécnica. Turn left onto Rua da Escola Politécnica, and you will find the National Museum of Science & Natural History at number 56.

From Cascais, you can also take the bus number 403 towards Lisbon. Get off at the stop 'Rato'. From Rato, walk north on Rua do Rato until you reach a roundabout. Take the first exit onto Rua da Escola Politécnica; the museum will be on your right at number 56.
