Walking
From the center of Tomar, head southwest on Rua da Liberdade towards Praça da República. Continue straight until you reach the end of the square. Turn left onto Avenida da Liberdade and follow the road until you reach the Templar Castle. From the castle, head towards the main streets and look for signs pointing to the bus station. Take Bus 1 from the Tomar bus station to Lisbon. Once in Lisbon, disembark at the stop near the Monument to the Discoveries, which is located on Av. Brasília.

Start at the Tomar train station. Take a train to Lisbon (Lisboa). Once you arrive at the Santa Apolónia or Rossio station in Lisbon, transfer to the metro or catch a local bus (Bus 728 or 714) towards Belém. Get off at the stop 'Mosteiro dos Jerónimos' or 'Centro Cultural de Belém.' From there, it’s a short walk to the Monument to the Discoveries located on Av. Brasília.
