To reach the Garden Vasco da Gama from Setúbal, start by heading to the Setúbal train station (Estação Ferroviária de Setúbal). From there, take a train towards Lisbon (Lisboa). Get off at the Lisboa (Lisbon) train station, which is often called 'Cais do Sodré'. Once you exit the station, look for the metro entrance and take the Green Line (Linha Verde) towards 'Cais do Sodré'. After one stop, get off at 'Baixa-Chiado'. From the Baixa-Chiado station, exit and head northwest on Rua do Ouro. Continue straight until you reach Praça do Comércio. From there, walk along the waterfront towards the east until you reach the junction of Rua Vieira Portuense. The Garden Vasco da Gama will be on your right.

If you are already in the city center of Lisbon, you can walk to the Garden Vasco da Gama. Start at Praça do Comércio, facing the river. Walk east along the waterfront, enjoying the views. Continue straight until you reach the junction with Rua Vieira Portuense. Turn right onto Rua Vieira Portuense and proceed along the street for a short distance. The garden will be on your right side.

From Setúbal, you can take a bus to Lisbon. Head to the Setúbal bus station (Terminal Rodoviário de Setúbal). Look for buses heading to Lisbon and purchase a ticket. Once you arrive at Lisbon's bus terminal (e.g. Campo Grande), follow the signs to the metro and take the Green Line (Linha Verde) towards Cais do Sodré. Get off at Baixa-Chiado and follow the walking directions provided above to reach the Garden Vasco da Gama.
