Walking
From the main square in Viana do Castelo (Praça da República), head southwest towards Rua de José Augusto. Continue straight until you reach Avenida de Cabo Verde. Turn left and walk along Avenida de Cabo Verde until you reach the bridge (Ponte de Lima). Cross the bridge and follow the signs for the bus station (Terminal Rodoviário de Viana do Castelo). From the bus station, take a bus towards Barcelos. The journey will take approximately 40 minutes. Get off at the Barcelos bus station. From the bus station, walk east along Avenida da Liberdade until you reach R. Cónego Joaquim Gaiolas. The Museum of Pottery will be on your right.

Start at the main bus station in Viana do Castelo (Terminal Rodoviário de Viana do Castelo). Purchase a ticket to Barcelos. Buses run regularly throughout the day. Once you arrive at Barcelos, exit the bus station and head east along Avenida da Liberdade. Continue straight for about 10 minutes until you reach R. Cónego Joaquim Gaiolas. The Museum of Pottery will be located on your right.
