From the center of Viseu, start at Praça da República. Walk towards Rua do Comércio and continue until you reach Avenida da Europa. Once you hit Avenida da Europa, take the bus at the nearby bus station towards Mangualde (Bus line number 9). After approximately 30 minutes, get off at Mangualde. From the bus stop in Mangualde, walk towards the main road (Rua da Liberdade) and head north until you reach the church. Santuário de Nossa Senhora do Castelo will be on your right.

Begin your journey at the Viseu Bus Station (Terminal Rodoviário de Viseu). Purchase a ticket to Mangualde, which is a short trip of about 30 minutes. The bus will take you directly to Mangualde. Upon arrival at Mangualde, exit the bus and head northeast towards the main road (Rua da Liberdade). Walk straight for about 15 minutes until you see Santuário de Nossa Senhora do Castelo on your right.
