If you are starting from the center of Viseu, head towards the Praça da República, a central square bustling with cafes and shops. From the square, walk southeast along Rua do Comércio until you reach the intersection with Rua da Liberdade. Turn left onto Rua da Liberdade and continue straight until you reach the intersection with Rua dos Combatentes. Here, turn right and continue until you arrive at the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto Avenida da Europa. Continue on this road, and after a short distance, you’ll see a sign for Convento de São Francisco. The convent entrance is located on R. Convento, which is just off Avenida da Europa.
