Getting There

Walking
From the main square of Cabo Rojo, head north on Route 100. Continue walking straight for about 20 minutes until you reach the intersection with Route 2. Turn left onto Route 2 and walk for another 10 minutes. You will need to cross the bridge over the river. After crossing, look for the bus stop on the right side of the road. From there, take a local bus heading towards Quebradillas. Inform the driver that you want to get off near Playa El Guajataca East. Once you get off, walk about 5 minutes east along the coastline until you reach the entrance of Playa El Guajataca East.

Public Bus
From your accommodation in Cabo Rojo, walk to the nearest bus stop on Route 100. Catch the bus for Quebradillas, which operates throughout the day. After approximately 30 minutes of travel, get off at the stop closest to Playa El Guajataca East. You may need to ask the driver for the best stop. Once you disembark, walk east along the shore for about 5 minutes until you reach the entrance to the beach.

Bicycle Rental
If you prefer to cycle, rent a bicycle from one of the local rental shops in Cabo Rojo. Start your journey by heading north on Route 100, cycling for about 20 minutes until you reach Route 2. Turn left onto Route 2 and cycle for another 10 minutes. Be cautious as this road can be busy. After crossing the river bridge, look for a safe spot to park your bicycle and walk the remaining 5 minutes east along the coastline to reach Playa El Guajataca East.
