If you're driving, begin your journey from the main entrance of the Caribbean National Forest, located at El Yunque National Forest (PR-191, Río Grande). Take PR-191 South until you reach the intersection with PR-983. Turn left onto PR-983. Continue on PR-983 for approximately 5 miles until you reach Las Pailas, which will be on your right. Keep an eye out for the signs indicating Las Pailas.
