In Jayuya, look for Route 143 which will lead you towards Cerro de Punta. Continue on Route 143 until you reach the designated parking area for Cerro de Punta. The drive from San Juan should take about 1.5 to 2 hours depending on traffic. Note that parking may incur a small fee, so be prepared with cash.

    If you are relying on public transportation, take a bus from San Juan to Ponce. The buses leave from the Terminal de San Juan and the journey takes about 1.5 hours. Once in Ponce, you’ll need to switch to a local 'guagua' (shared taxi) towards Jayuya.
