From the Plaza de Armas, head northeast on Calle de la Fortaleza. Continue straight, and you'll reach La Fortaleza at 63 C. de la Fortaleza. This route is approximately a 10-minute walk.

If you are near Castillo San Felipe del Morro, exit the fort and head southwest, following the coastline along the Paseo del Morro. Once you reach the end of the promenade, turn left onto Calle de la Fortaleza. La Fortaleza will be on your right after about a 15-minute walk.

Although La Fortaleza is within walking distance, if you prefer public transport, take the local bus (T5 or T6) from the bus terminal near Plaza de Armas towards the San Juan area. Note that you will need to check the bus schedule as services may vary. Get off at the stop closest to Calle de la Fortaleza and walk a few minutes to your destination.
