Getting there

Car

If you are traveling by car, start from the main town of Isabel Segunda. Head southeast on PR-200, which is the main road on Vieques Island. Continue straight on PR-200 for about 3 miles until you reach the intersection with PR-201. Turn left onto PR-201 and continue for approximately 1.5 miles. Casa Ladera is located at HC-01 Box 8202 Monte Santo Playa, which will be on your right. Look for the sign, and you can park in the designated area.

Public Transportation (Bus/Taxi)

If you prefer public transportation, you can take the public bus from Isabel Segunda to Monte Santo Playa. The bus stop is located near the main square in Isabel Segunda. Buses run regularly, but it's best to check the local schedule for exact times. Once you arrive at the Monte Santo Playa stop, Casa Ladera is a short walk away, approximately 0.5 miles. If you have luggage or prefer not to walk, you can hail a taxi from the bus stop to take you directly to Casa Ladera, which should cost around $10-$15.

Biking

For the adventurous, renting a bike is a great way to explore the island. You can rent a bike in Isabel Segunda or at various locations around the island. From Isabel Segunda, head southeast on PR-200. The ride is about 3.5 miles to Casa Ladera. Be cautious as the roads can be narrow and winding. Make sure to wear a helmet and follow all safety rules while biking.
