From the center of East Greenwich, head southwest on Main Street towards Division Street. Continue straight, and after about 0.5 miles, turn left onto South County Trail (Route 2). Walk for approximately 1 mile until you reach the intersection with Route 138. Cross Route 138 and continue straight to follow the signs for Newport. After about 2 miles, you will see the signs for Newport. Once you enter Newport, follow the signs to Ocean Avenue. Gooseberry Beach will be on your right at 130 Ocean Ave, Newport, RI 02840.

Public Transportation
From East Greenwich, catch the RIPTA bus number 60 heading towards Newport. The bus will take you on a direct route to Newport. Disembark at the Newport Gateway Center. From there, transfer to the local bus route 67 towards Ocean Drive. Get off at the Gooseberry Beach stop. The beach entrance will be a short walk from there.
