Walking
If you are starting from the East Greenwich Town Hall located at 125 Main St, head south on Main St toward First Ave. Continue straight for about 0.5 miles until you reach the intersection with King St. Turn left onto King St and continue for another 0.3 miles. This will lead you to the East Greenwich train station. From there, take the train heading towards Newport. Disembark at the Newport station. After exiting the station, head east on America’s Cup Ave until you reach the intersection with Bellevue Ave. Turn left onto Bellevue Ave and walk about 0.5 miles. The Redwood Library and Athenaeum will be on your right at 50 Bellevue Ave.

From East Greenwich, walk to the nearest bus stop on Main St. Take the RIPTA Bus #60 towards Newport. Stay on the bus until you reach the stop at Bellevue Ave and Memorial Blvd. After getting off, walk north along Bellevue Ave for about 0.3 miles. The Redwood Library and Athenaeum will be on your left at 50 Bellevue Ave.

If you're renting a bike in East Greenwich, start at the East Greenwich Bike Rental Shop on Main St. Head south on Main St, then take a left onto King St. Continue until you reach the East Greenwich train station. From there, bike along the scenic route toward Newport. Once you arrive in Newport, take the bike lane on America’s Cup Ave and turn onto Bellevue Ave. Continue biking for about 0.5 miles.
