Car
From Napatree Point Conservation Area, head northwest on Napatree Rd toward Watch Hill Rd. Continue on Watch Hill Rd, then merge onto U.S. Route 1 North. After approximately 1.5 miles, take the exit toward Route 78 East. Continue on Route 78 until you reach a roundabout. Take the second exit onto Route 1 North again. Continue for about 3 miles and turn left onto Palmer Neck Rd. Follow Palmer Neck Rd until you reach Barn Island Wildlife Management Area, which is located on the right side at the intersection with Barn Island Rd. Parking is available on-site.

Public Transportation
From Napatree Point Conservation Area, walk to the nearest bus stop at Watch Hill Rd. Take the RIPTA bus #66 towards Westerly. After approximately 20 minutes, get off at the Route 1 & Palmer Neck Rd stop. From there, it's about a 15-minute walk to Barn Island Wildlife Management Area. Head down Palmer Neck Rd, and the entrance will be on your right. Be aware that bus fares may apply, so check the current rates on the RIPTA website.
