After about 30 minutes, get off at the 'Newport - Broadway & 3rd' stop. From there, walk northeast on Broadway towards the intersection with Bellevue Avenue. Turn left onto Bellevue Avenue, and continue walking for about 0.5 miles. The Redwood Library and Athenaeum will be on your right at 50 Bellevue Ave.

If you're comfortable riding a bicycle, you can rent one in Narragansett. Start by heading northwest on Ocean Road, then turn left onto Narragansett Avenue. Follow this road until it becomes West Main Road, which will take you into Newport. Stay on West Main Road until you reach the intersection with Bellevue Avenue. Turn left onto Bellevue Avenue and continue for about a mile. The Redwood Library and Athenaeum will be on your left at 50 Bellevue Ave.
