From downtown Providence, head to the nearest bus stop on Dorrance Street. Take the RIPTA bus #1 (Broad Street) towards the Cranston Bus Terminal. Stay on the bus for approximately 15-20 minutes. Get off at the stop at Elmwood Avenue and Oakhill Avenue. From the bus stop, walk south along Elmwood Avenue for about 5 minutes. The Betsey Williams Cottage will be on your right at 1000 Elmwood Ave.
