    From downtown Providence, walk to the Kennedy Plaza bus station. Take the RIPTA bus #60 towards Newport. The bus ride will take approximately 1 hour. Once you arrive in Newport, disembark at the stop nearest to Bellevue Avenue, which is a few blocks from the Newport Mansions. Walk east on Broadway, then turn left onto Bellevue Avenue. The Newport Mansions Preservation Society will be on your right at 424 Bellevue Ave.

  • Train and Bus

    From Providence, take the MBTA train from Providence Station to South Station in Boston. From South Station, transfer to the Peter Pan bus service towards Newport. The total travel time will be around 2.5 hours. Once you arrive in Newport, proceed to Bellevue Avenue walking east on Broadway, then turn left onto Bellevue Avenue. The Newport Mansions Preservation Society will be at 424 Bellevue Ave.

  • Walking and Bus Combination
