From downtown Providence, head to the nearest bus stop at Kennedy Plaza. Look for the RIPTA bus number 60 heading towards Newport. The bus will take you directly to Newport. Once you arrive at Newport, disembark at the Long Wharf stop. From there, walk towards Long Wharf Mall, and the Newport Visitor Information Center will be on your right at 21 Long Wharf Mall.

Take the MBTA train from Providence Station heading towards South Station in Boston. Get off at Kingston Station. Once there, transfer to the RIPTA bus number 60, which will take you directly to Newport. Upon arrival in Newport, disembark at the Long Wharf stop.
