Car
From Trustom Pond National Wildlife Refuge, exit the refuge onto Route 1 South (also known as the Post Road). Continue on Route 1 South for approximately 3 miles. Take the exit toward South Kingstown/Matunuck. Merge onto Commodore Perry Highway (Route 1A). After about 1.5 miles, you will see Historic Hale House on your right at 2625 Commodore Perry Hwy, South Kingstown, RI 02879. There is no entrance fee for visiting the house, but check their website for any special event costs.

If you are using public transportation, take the Rhode Island Public Transit Authority (RIPTA) bus #66 from Wakefield to South Kingstown. Get off at the stop closest to Commodore Perry Highway. From there, it is approximately a 15-20 minute walk (about 1 mile) to Historic Hale House, located at 2625 Commodore Perry Hwy. Be sure to check the bus schedule in advance as service may vary.
