Start at the Westerly Train Station. Take the Rhode Island Public Transit Authority (RIPTA) bus number 66 towards Newport. The bus ride will take approximately 30 minutes. Disembark at the Bellevue Ave at Ruggles St stop. From there, walk east on Ruggles St towards Bellevue Ave. Turn left onto Bellevue Ave and walk for about 0.4 miles. The Newport Mansions Preservation Society will be on your left at 424 Bellevue Ave.

Rent a bicycle from a local shop in Westerly. Head east on Canal St, then continue onto Beach St. Follow Beach St until it intersects with US-1. Take a left onto US-1 and continue until you reach the intersection with Bellevue Ave. Turn right onto Bellevue Ave and bike for about 3 miles. The Newport Mansions Preservation Society will be on your left at 424 Bellevue Ave.

Head south on High St towards Main St. Continue straight onto Garden St, and then turn left onto Franklin St. Follow Franklin St until it becomes US-1.
