Getting There

    From the center of Moldova area, take the E581 road towards the west. Continue on E581 until you reach the town of Drobeta-Turnu Severin. From Drobeta-Turnu Severin, follow the signs for Route 6 towards Serbia. Once you cross the border into Serbia, stay on Route 6 until you reach the signs for Golubac. Follow the signs to the town center, and you will find the historical site of Golubac Fortress located at Tvrdjava, Golubac.

    Start from the main bus station in the Moldova area. Look for a bus that travels to Drobeta-Turnu Severin. Tickets usually cost around 20-30 RON. Once in Drobeta-Turnu Severin, transfer to a bus heading to Golubac. Buses might not run frequently, so check the schedule ahead of time.
