If you are driving from any location in Prahova Valley, head towards the town of Bușteni. From Bușteni, take the DN1 road towards Predeal. After approximately 6 km, look for signs directing you to Poiana Coștilei. There will be a forest road on your left (this may be unpaved), leading to the hiking area. Follow this road for about 2 km until you reach the parking area at the base of the hiking trail.

To reach Poiana Coștilei using public transport, take a train or bus from your location in Prahova Valley to Bușteni. Once in Bușteni, you can either take a taxi to the forest road leading to Poiana Coștilei (approximately 10-15 RON) or you can walk to the base of the hiking trail, which is about 6 km away from the town center. Expect to spend around 30-40 minutes on foot, enjoying the scenic views along the way.
