Start from the Butare town center, specifically near the National Museum of Rwanda. Head northeast on Avenue de l'Indépendance towards Avenue du 1er Novembre. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Avenue des Révolutions. Turn right onto Avenue des Révolutions and walk for about 500 meters until you see the sign for the Huye Market on your left. Cross the street towards the market.

Once at Huye Market, continue walking through the market area for about 100 meters. Take the first left onto a smaller road that leads towards Colline Kizi. Follow this road as it curves slightly to the right, and keep an eye out for a sign that says 'Ibisi bya Huye'.

After about 1 kilometer, you will begin to see signs directing you to Ibisi bya Huye. Continue following these signs until you reach the final stretch leading up to the attraction. The path may become a bit steep, so take your time.
