If you are traveling by car, start from the center of Cyangugu. Head southeast on Avenue de la Paix towards Avenue du 1er Novembre. After about 1.5 km, take the right onto the Rw 207 road, which will lead you towards Gikongoro. Continue on this road for approximately 25 km until you reach the Gikongoro area. Look for signs directing you to the Murambi Genocide Memorial Centre. The memorial is located at GHV9+M4J, Unnamed Road, Gikongoro, Karaba. There is no parking fee, but ensure your vehicle is parked safely.
