From Gikongoro town, head west on the main road (Road RN1) towards Kayumba. After approximately 10 km, you will reach a fork in the road. Take the left fork, remaining on the main road. Continue straight for about 5 km until you see a sign for Ntarama on your right. Turn right onto the smaller road leading to the memorial. The Ntarama Genocide Memorial is located at V3P2+W2C, Kayumba. Be aware of local traffic rules and conditions, and consider having a GPS or map for navigation.

From Gikongoro town, take a moto-taxi (local motorcycle taxi) or a shared minibus (known as a 'bus') heading to Kayumba. Ask the driver to drop you off at the nearest stop to the Ntarama Genocide Memorial.
