Getting There

Walking
From the center of Gisenyi, head towards Avenue du Lac. Walk along this road until you reach the main roundabout at the shore of Lake Kivu. At the roundabout, take the first exit onto Route du Lac. Keep heading along this road for about 2 kilometers until you see a signpost directing you to Nyamyumba Hot Springs. Turn left onto the unpaved road leading to the hot springs. Continue straight for about 1 kilometer, and you will find the hot springs on your right side.

Bicycle
Start from the central market area in Gisenyi. Rent a bicycle if you haven't already. Cycle towards Avenue du Lac and proceed to the main roundabout at Lake Kivu. Take the first exit onto Route du Lac and continue cycling for about 2 kilometers. Look for the sign indicating Nyamyumba Hot Springs and turn left onto the unpaved road. Continue straight for about 1 kilometer, and the hot springs will be located on your right.

Motorbike Taxi
From your location in Gisenyi, find a nearby motorbike taxi (also known as 'moto-taxi'). Inform the driver that you want to go to Nyamyumba Hot Springs. They will take you along Avenue du Lac to the roundabout by Lake Kivu and then onto Route du Lac. After about 2 kilometers, they will turn left onto the unpaved road leading to the hot springs. The driver will drop you off at the entrance, which is approximately 1 kilometer down this road on the right side.
